The Byron Eaton Agency, a Birmingham area firm that provides asset protection and financial planning services to families and business owners throughout central Alabama, is embarking on a joint charity effort with the Greater Birmingham Humane Society to provide for abused and neglected animals.
The Greater Birmingham Humane Society takes an active role in preventing and reversing harm to animals in and around Jefferson County. For decades, GBHS has offered a wide selection of programs for local animals, including education on humane treatment, pet adoption and rehoming, and investigations into reports of animal abuse, neglect, or cruelty.
“Last year, GBHS took in roughly 20,000 animals and provided them with care and adoptions services – this year, our goal is to help even more animals in our community find new and loving homes,” says Byron Eaton, executive manager and founder of the Byron Eaton Agency.
To promote the Greater Birmingham Humane Society and raise both awareness and support from the local community, Eaton and his team are sharing information with local families and civic leaders over email and social media.
