PrideStaff, a national, franchised staffing organization, is pleased to announce that Cedric Charles, a PrideStaff field associate and National Guard member, was recently activated to assist with southern Mississippi’s months-long storm recovery efforts after an EF3 tornado devastated businesses, home and schools.
Charles was eager to lend a hand in impacted areas. “When I received my activation call, I was thankful to be working as a PrideStaff field associate,” said Charles. “Working on temporary assignments gave me the flexibility to serve my country and my community, while still having time to be at home with my family.”
“PrideStaff worked around my schedule. When I did have availability, they put me straight to work, and my supervisor checked in with me frequently and was very supportive,” continued Charles. “Working through PrideStaff has helped me build my resume, gain new trade skills and learn about new job opportunities. I’m proud and thankful to be a member of this organization.”
When Charles notified the PrideStaff Gulfport office of his temporary activation, Strategic-Partner Gary Carmichael was beaming. “We are extremely proud to have a PrideStaff field associate supporting the Pine Belt’s disaster recovery efforts,” stated Carmichael. “Our team would like to formally thank Cedric for putting his military skills and training to good use at a time when they are desperately needed.”
