Blueshore Films Launches 50 Million Slate at Cannes Festival

Blueshore Films partners Gary Smith and Dayo Beverly are attending Cannes Film Festival May 2017 with the launch of a new US$50 million film production slate. The films’ genres include action, thriller, animation, romantic comedy and drama and have budgets from $3m to $30m.

Located in Santa Monica, CA., Blueshore Films is a private company whose strategy is to add significant value to film investors by using its partners’ 25 years of experience to structure

Equity, Tax Credit and Debt financing appropriate to each film. It follows up the financing with a strong marketing campaign.

Blueshore has partnered with top quality co-producers and Studios in order to reduce risks and enhance revenue opportunities. The biggest film on the slate is QiQi, a $30m animation film created by Ellen Perry and produced by Sid Ganis former president of Paramount Motion

Pictures Group. Thought to be the last of his dolphin kind in China, QiQi tries to fulfill an ancient prophecy where he must confront the evil Suckerfish warlord, Cao Cao, who threatens all the peaceful river clans with a massive food-harvesting scheme.

Blueshore Films was started in 2016 by Producer & Financier Gary Smith, formerly CEO of

Intandem Films and Winchester Entertainment, and Executive Producer Dayo Beverly after seeing a need in the market for stronger marketing and financing, targeting studio partnerships and independent filmmakers.

The partners have considerable experience in all aspects of the film industry having been involved in the production, financing, sales and distribution of over forty feature films with total budgets in excess of $300million.
