Ant, 42, had entered into rehab earlier last year to try and battle his addiction to painkillers.
As the star fought to recover, there were rumours that his relationship to Lisa, 41, was on the rocks.
Now, Ant’s spokesman has released a statement confirming the sad news that the pair are officially splitting up for good.
Confirming to the MailOnline, it read: “In response to the recent speculation in the media, Ant is very sad to announce that, after 11 years, he is ending his marriage to Lisa McPartlin.
“Ant asks for privacy at this difficult time, for both himself, Lisa and their immediate families.
“No further statement will be made.”
Meanwhile, a source close to the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! presenter reportedly told The Sun that the situation has been declining for the last eight months, including while he was away filming in Australia with co-host Declan Donnelly.
The insider said: “This was a tough decision for Ant but he has to do the right thing for his health.
“The marriage has effectively been struggling for eight months. He’s given it a good go.”
They went on to say that Lisa was his priority.
“Ant’s big concern in the whole thing is Lisa and making it as easy as possible for her,” they added.
Until this point, Strictly Come Dancing makeup artist Lisa had vehemently denied any marital problems with Ant.
She’d even posted a public tweet to her 98,000 Twitter followers about the situation in November.
The terse statement read: “I’m not estranged, thank you.”
The couple met when they were both performing at a pop concert at Newcastle City Hall in 1994.
Lisa used to be a singer in 90s band Deuce, while Ant was in PJ & Duncan with his best man Dec.
It wasn’t until 12 years later that the smitten couple finally wed at a church in Taplow, Buckinghamshire in front of 150 friends and family.
Express Online has contacted Lisa’s representatives for further comment.
